If anyone even pays attention to this around here, first things first; you may or may not have noticed that I’ve recently become a member of the Technorati society. And that’s not to say that I just found out about this whole thing, in all reality I’ve known about it for quite some time. I just didn’t see any real use for it until now. Which is why I have signed up, because I have found a use for it, and the reason I’m writing all this. (whew!)

It seems that the Technorati Blogosphere is huge. With the whole “real time”, what’s going on in the Blogging world, it’s keeping track of over 13 Million websites and more than 1 Billion links. If people are linking to my articles or what-have-you, the wonderful Technorati will let me know. Which in turn might even increase my readerbase. So I hope this thing actually works.

In other news, with the recent theme switch, before I even checked to see the full functionality of my website it seems that my archive section is broken. It appears that the sidebar is missing. I have no idea how that happened considering I don’t modify core code all too often. I’ll take a look into it later and see what the culprit is though.

And on a more personal level, Kari and I will be leaving for Wisonsin in roughly 2.5 days. I’ll be gone for 9 days, in which there will be absolutely no updates (unless I get to a computer). I get to meet her friends, I already met her parents when they vacationed here for a week(about one month ago) and I get to meet her overprotecting brothers. (Woohoo!) — At any rate, I’m going to have a lot of fun regardless. Just the fact that I’ll be someplace I’ve never been, away from family and away from everything I’m used to down here.
