Convert your Docs to PDF

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006 at 10:25 pm

While working on my resume’ this evening, and then wondering how I could convert it to PDF since Microsoft doesn’t have this ability, I found a pretty neat site that will do it for me. It allowed me to convert my .doc file to .pdf on the fly, and it’s emailed to me. Just wish it was downloadable instead. It’s able to handle a variety of other formats as well, including RTF, XLS, PPT, PPS, HTML, PUB and even all the common image formats.

There’s even a program you can download for a free trial. Downside to that is it watermarks your pdf with their logo. I think I’ll just stick with their free web service.

Taking its acclaimed SLI technology to the next level, NVIDIA introduced support for not one, not two, not three, but FOUR GPUs. Delivering the most extreme high definition gaming experience available on the PC, Quad SLI features four of NVIDIA’s flagship GeForce® 7800 GTX GPUs with an NVIDIA nForce®4 SLI motherboard.

Imagine tearing through today’s most advanced PC games with an unheard of 41 gigapixels per second of raw graphics performance, 5.2 teraflops of compute power, 96 pixel pipes, and an astounding 2 GB of on-board graphics memory. Nothing can stop you when you have this kind of hardware on your side.

Now imagine yourself doing all of this at extreme HD resolutions with everything turned on. A Quad-SLI PC lets you run your favorite games at an unbelievably high resolution of 2560×1600 while maintaining silky smooth frame rates. In addition, support for a new 32x antialiasing mode and 16x anisotropic filtering enables stunning visuals.

Myspace.com on Music Choice

Wednesday, January 4th, 2006 at 5:20 pm

While sitting here listening to some music from the nearby TV, I hear a song come on Music Choice(Brighthouse Channel 414[Alternative]) that I havent heard before. I got up and walked to the TV, and come to find out they’re playing AFI’s new song, which is on the album MySpace Records Volume 1.

I find it strange that such a website has become so popular to breach the internet market, and has now spread to the Television.

How much is your Blog worth?

Thursday, October 27th, 2005 at 9:51 pm

Lee Hopkins did the math and computed a number of blog-valuations. The values are based upon the Weblogs, Inc./AOL deal, i.e. dividing the purchase price by the number of inbound links the blogs have. Your blog value is determined by multiplying your Technorati link count by a dollar amount.

I’m only worth $564.54.
