Today, renowned search engine Google turns 7 years old! Happy Birthday !

Google opened its doors in September 1998, and we’ve been pursuing one mission ever since: to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. For our seventh birthday, we are giving you a newly expanded web search index that is 1,000 times the size of our original index.

It’s definately a great read for those of you who like to keep your PC’s or networks secure and think you’re doing a good job. He tells it like it is.

In light of recieving multiple spam comments the last few days, I’ve decided to step things up a bit. I got rid of the Referrer Bouncer plugin, which didn’t seem to be working all that well and I installed Spam Karma 2.

It’s chock full of options and neat ways to rid blogs of comment spam, and it’s been praised very well.

New stuff on the about page, just random facts about myself.
I’m also working on skinning Gallery to my current theme. It’s coming along nicely, but I just need to work on converting the graphics over to the new layout. Shouldn’t take too long I hope.

Also trying to get the CSS correct for the Super (Live) Archives.. Right now it’s kind of b0rk3d.

I might be adding some other content into the sidebar, such as random Flickr photos… or I might pull them straight from my Gallery. Not really sure on how or what yet..
