After rumors abound, it is official. Disney has purchased Pixar Animation Studios for a hefty $7.4 Billion Dollars.

Coincedently, Steve Jobs (CEO and Chairman of Pixar and Apple) sold to make a fast buck. Since Jobs owned Pixar, he sells to Disney where he becomes Chairman of the board over at Disney as well(since he is the top share-holder for Disney). Most likely using this to his benefit so he can put Disney movies on iTunes… making even more money.

According to The Seattle Times, 3 Bubonic Plague infected lab mice are now missing. Reports say that there is no health risk at the moment and they’re not sure whether they were stolen or escaped.
The FBI is now investigating.

Health officials say 10 to 20 people in the United States contract plague each year, usually through infected fleas or rodents. It can be treated with antibiotics, but about one in seven U.S. cases is fatal. Bubonic plague is not contagious, but left untreated it can transform into pneumonic plague, which can be spread from person to person.
